Overview

We are hiring for our full time Licensed Vet Tech ( LVT ) position.

Summerfields Animal Hospital is in the North Fort Worth - Keller, Texas area and is seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Veterinary Technicians to join our well-established, AAHA-accredited, 4 doctor practice. We are looking for friendly, driven, inspiring, patient, balanced, and passionate professionals who are comfortable with and serve both people and animals.

Responsibilities
  • Assist our veterinarians and participate in hospital maintenance, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, medical procedures, pharmacy, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, assisting in the operating room, and maintenance of OSHA and Hazardous Materials programs.
  • Cleaning and maintaining organization of exam rooms.
  • Support and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Follow schedules and adapt to flexible hours (mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays).
Qualifications
  • LVT licensed
  • 6 months in related or similar work experience required
  • Ability to work as a productive team member with excellent communication skills, as well as computer and phone skills
Preferred/Additional
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Previous veterinary hospital experience
  • No experience required with willingness to train the right person
