Job Description: Our client is seeking a confident and compassionate Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established general practice environment focused on teamwork, clinical consistency, and high standards of patient care. This full-time opportunity provides exposure to a varied small animal caseload while offering structure, collaboration, and the ability to practice medicine with appropriate support and workflow balance.
Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent qualification
- Eligibility for veterinary licensure within the state of Texas
- At least one year of clinical experience within a small animal setting preferred
- Confidence performing routine diagnostics, surgery, and dental procedures
- Strong communication skills with clients and internal clinical teams
- Conducting thorough physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations
- Developing treatment plans and medical recommendations for companion animals
- Performing routine surgical and dental procedures as part of daily caseload
- Maintaining accurate and compliant medical records
- Working collaboratively with technicians and support staff to ensure smooth patient flow
