Description:

This position is for a Travel RN in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.
The typical shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
The unit consists of 16 beds.
The staff includes 45 registered nurses.
Nurse-to-patient ratio is 2:1.
Both day and night shifts maintain a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
The unit features advanced medical equipment, including GE monitors, EV 1000, Hemispheres, CRRT, Impella, Swan Ganz catheters, arterial lines, chest tubes, and ventilators.
Electronic Medical Records are managed via Meditech.
Typical procedures performed include hemodynamic monitoring, Swan Ganz catheter placement, arterial line insertions, and management of chest tubes.
The ideal candidate will be a team player who thrives in a collaborative care environment.
Floating areas may include Medical ICU, Neuro Surgical ICU, and Cardiac Progressive Care Unit.
Weekend shifts require 2 shifts biweekly.
No on-call shifts are required.
