Job Description:
Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) responsible for providing critical care to patients with cardiovascular conditions during the night shift.
Responsibilities:
Manage patient care with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio.
Utilize equipment such as GE monitors, EV 1000, Hemispheres, CRRT (Next Stage), Impella, Swan Ganz, and Art lines.
Perform procedures including hemodynamic monitoring, Swan Ganz, Art lines, and chest tube management.
Requirements:
2 years of critical care experience in adult ICU, CVICU, or Neuro ICU.
Experience with ventilators, arterial/central line, and chest tube management skills.
RN certification is required.
Preferred: CVICU specific skills, CABG recovery, CRRT, Impella, Meditech experience, BSN, CCRN.
