Job Responsibilities

Under general direction, provides nursing care in collaboration with the patients and serves as a resource person for staff; evaluates patients' qualifications for clinical research studies; presents lectures, seminars, programs, or conferences; responsible for collaboration, facilitation, and implementation of research projects; provides direct clinical service to patients and families including psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, counseling, supportive therapy, behavior modification, care management, and patient education.

Job Requirements

• ADN required
• BSN preferred Will accept ADN if enrolled in BSN program Must have BSN in 36 months (3yrs)
• Must have 2 years of current, recent ER experience.
• MUST have acute care experience in a hospital setting
• Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provide
• Current Texas State Licensure as a Registered Nurse (Compact license is accepted but TX State RN license required within 30 days of hired
• Current ACLS/ BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
