We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will work alongside physicians and provide advanced nursing care to patients. Your responsibilities will include conducting physical exams, diagnosing illnesses, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications. The ideal candidate needs to have the DNA of compassion, kindness, courteous, confident yet eager to grow, and have an interest in Diet and Exercise.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas
  • Master's degree in nursing or a related field
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Proven experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent knowledge of medical practices, treatments, and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive physical assessments on patients, including obtaining detailed medical histories
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work, imaging, and EKGs
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, as well as provide preventive care
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, including medication management and lifestyle modifications
  • Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documenting patient visits, assessments, and interventions
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with advances in medical knowledge and research
  • Adhere to all applicable legal and ethical standards in patient care, while promoting patient confidentiality and privacy>

This position will be one day a week, on Wednesdays 8 hours.
