Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a full‑time opening for a Cardiovascular Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join a team of leading diagnostic and interventional, and non‑interventional cardiologists in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a great opportunity to work closely with board‑certified physicians who have a reputation for excellence in diagnosing and providing innovative treatments for cardiovascular diseases.
Position Details- Full time – 40 hours per week – hospital based
- Hospital rounding including ICU rounding and management of cardiology patients
- Electronic Medical Records
- Assess new consults in the clinic and hospital
- ICU rounding
- Nuclear, stress tests, echocardiogram all on site

- Active Texas license
- Nurse Practitioner board certification and experience
- Degree in NP studies from an approved Nurse Practitioner program
- 1–3 years of cardiology experience required
The Nurse Practitioner (“NP”) must be a graduate of an accredited advanced nursing program and have a current RN license for the State of Texas.
Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas.
The NP will report to the supervising physician and/or the medical director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.
The NP’s duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only.
