• Deliver advanced nursing care to patients in the Cardiac ICU, focusing on monitoring and treating critical cardiac conditions.
• Administer medications, perform complex procedures, and operate specialized equipment in line with the latest cardiac care protocols.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patients' progress, interpret cardiac data, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on cardiac conditions, treatments, and post-ICU care, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the patient's health journey.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required;
  Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in cardiac care or critical care, with a strong preference for ICU experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) or Cardiac-Vascular Nursing (RN-BC) is preferred.
