Job specification

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health, administering medications and interventions as needed.
• Assist obstetricians and midwives during delivery, ensuring a smooth, safe, and patient-centered birthing experience.
• Educate and support mothers and their families on postnatal care, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in labor and delivery or maternal care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB) or Maternal Newborn Nursing (RNC-MNN) is preferred.
