The Women's Center at Texas Health Ft. Worth, a MAGNET facility, has been named 'Best Place to Have a Baby' and is a Maternal Level IV Designated facility.
Work hours: Full Time Nights (6:45PM-7:15AM) for 36 hours/week with some weekend and holiday coverage. (2) 12‑hour clinical shifts and (1) 12‑hour shift of flexible administrative time - on days and nights; monthly day meetings required

As a regional referral center for high-risk deliveries, Texas Health Fort Worth offers advanced services for complex and high-risk infants - Over 600 NICU admissions per year
63‑bed Level III Neonatal ICU/NICU:
Utilize the following skills:
Bubble CPAP, Conventional Ventilator, Oscillators, and JETs (high‑frequency)Our Level III NICU is staffed 24 hours a day by neonatologists, pediatric sub‑specialists, neonatal nurse practitioners and skilled registered nurses who are dedicated in providing experienced care to babies born with special health needs
Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Required
Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required)
Two (2) Years' experience as a clinical nurse (RN) with previous experience as a Charge nurse or similar leadership role (i.e. Charge nurse, committee chair, preceptor) Required
More than 4 years of Neonatal ICU Level III RN experience strongly preferred
RN - Registered Nurse Licensure (to practice in the state of Texas) Upon Hire Required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days is required
NRPA - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 Days Required
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention training maintained annually 90 days required.
Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast‑paced environment.
The Supervisor role will involve Charge RN responsibilities, office hours and committee meetings under the guidance of the Nurse Manager.
Assist with audits, time and attendance, coaching, attend some meetings, evaluations
Facilitates patient nurse assignments and provides coordination of patient care on nursing unit
Serves as a role model/mentor for Registered Nurses in the areas of professional development, professional practice, and continuing education.
Coordinates the scheduling of staff for unit or designated shift.
Provides continuous constructive feedback and annual performance evaluations to staff.
Participates in coaching and counseling, Progressive Disciplinary action process with Nurse Manager/Director and staff.
Assists in providing staff meetings with Nurse Manager and facilitates during meetings as appropriate.
Identifies ineffective, inefficient or costly processes and takes action to improve those processes.
Participates in monitoring the budget as directed by Nurse Manager/Director
