ATCO – OPERATIONS & SAFETY DOCUMENTATION INTERN – FORT WORTH, TX (On-Site)
POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations & Safety Documentation Intern will support the Manufacturing and Safety teams by developing, organizing, and maintaining critical documentation. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual interested in manufacturing operations, safety compliance, and process improvement. The intern will gain hands‑on experience creating standardized documentation used across the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to document manufacturing and operational processes
- Create clear and concise work instructions for production, maintenance, and support activities
- Assist in developing and maintaining safety procedures to promote a safe manufacturing environment
- Compile, organize, and maintain OSHA documentation and compliance records
- Partner with operators, supervisors, and leadership to accurately document current processes
- Review existing procedures for accuracy, clarity, and regulatory compliance
- Ensure all documentation follows company standards and safety requirements
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Strong written communication skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to translate hands‑on manufacturing processes into clear, standardized documentation
- Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations (training will be provided)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and document formatting tools
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Safety Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Exposure to manufacturing or industrial environments
- Experience creating SOPs, work instructions, or technical documentation
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a part‑time position working 20 hours per week. Six month(+) internship. Flexible hours between 7:00 am‑5:00pm, Monday‑Friday
WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE
Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$ 17.00 - $19.00/hour
