WE ARE HIRING - Tool & Cutter Grinder
Location: 76140 area (Fort Worth)
Pay: $17.00/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tool & Cutter Grinder to support tool room and production operations at our Fort Worth facility. This role is responsible for grinding, sharpening, and maintaining cutting tools to precise specifications while ensuring quality, safety, and production efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual tool and cutter grinding machines

• Sharpen and recondition drills, end mills, reamers, and specialty tooling

• Read and interpret blueprints, tool prints, and work instructions (PERFERED NOT NEEDED)

• Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges

• Inspect tools to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances

• Adjust grinding wheels, fixtures, and machine settings as needed

• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting

• Maintain a clean, safe work environment

• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Previous experience as a Tool & Cutter Grinder preferred

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Ability to work with close tolerances

• Basic math skills (decimals and measurements)

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Work Environment:

• Tool room / manufacturing environment

• Exposure to noise, machinery, and grinding dust

• PPE required
