Machine Operator – 1st Shift – Fort Worth, TX

Hourly Rate: $19 per hour

Machine Operator I reports to the Machine Operator Leadman, operates one or more of the following machines 12’ Press Break, 20’ Press Break, ESAB Avenger Oxy Fuel Burn Table, Messer Plasma, Controlled Automation Burn Drill Table, Phython Robotic Plasma Machine and 60’ PULLMAX Press. Operator is responsible for safety and quality of the product off the line. The Operator is also responsible for housekeeping, trouble‑shooting, and achieving daily production and quality requirements.

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Complete the certification process for required positions in the department.
• Ability to communicate and comply with plant safety regulations.
• Ability to read and comprehend written directions and training manuals.
• Ability to read measuring tools and have basic math skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to deliver sustainable and superior results.
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management regarding equipment status, safety issues, and turnover information.
• Willingness and ability to become certified to operate forklifts, man lifts and overhead cranes.

• Successful candidate must submit to post offer, pre‑employment physical examination/medical history check.
• MUST be flexible with ALL shifts and overtime if needed.

• Work involves moderate to heavy exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
• Moderate to heavy physical activity. Requires handling of average‑weight objects up to 50 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than six (6) hours per day.
• Work environment involves exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require strict understanding and adherence to safety precautions.
