Material Handler Technician

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Material Handler Technician to join our team in Fort Worth, TX
. This is an onsite position.

• Perform general warehouse tasks, preventative maintenance, refurbishing, shipping and receiving Damage Control (Fire Fighting), Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Sorting equipment, applying labels, and assembling/disassembling protective equipment.
• Reporting and recording accurate inventory of all Chemical, Biological and Radiological (C ) assets processed daily, by use of established warehouse (WMS) and quality (QMS) management systems.
• Performing quality assurance and quality control activities.
• Perform visual/technical inspections of all C  masks and equipment as trained and directed.
• Assist the Team Lead in all daily tasks and ensuring the completion of each assigned task.
• Technicians will perform visual/technical inspections of all C  masks and equipment as trained and directed throughout each stage of the process.

• High School Diploma.
• 1+ year of experience in basic warehousing.
• Must possess basic knowledge of safety regulations and practices in an industrial/warehouse environment.

• Experience using handheld scanners.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and be willing and able to obtain a Secret security clearance.

• The person in this position must be able to work on their feet for up to 8 hours a day in a non-climate-controlled environment, and to be able to lift and handle material weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Must be able to safely operate forklifts, mid-riders, pallet jacks and/or other similar MHE devices.
