We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft.
This position is onsite at Bell's Repair and Overhaul Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Work Shift is 3:00PM-12:00AM on a 9/80 schedule. A rotational weekend per month is required each month.
Leader/Supervisor – Repair and Overhaul Center – 2 nd ShiftThis role is 2nd shift and we are looking for leaders that like and desire 2nd shift work which is 3:00PM to 12:00AM Monday through Friday on week 1 and Monday through Thursday on week 2 of our standard 9/80 schedule. Work includes 1 mandatory weekend per month.
Bell is seeking a Leader/Supervisor to support our manufacturing operations at our Repair & Overhaul Center location at our Fort Worth/Hurst, Texas location.
What you’ll be doing as a Leader/Supervisor:- Provide team support/direction for problem resolution affecting productivity, schedules, quality and safety.
- Prepare and present reports to upper management as required to status operational goals.
- Ensure team members follow established processes.
- Lead a skilled team of 10 or more employees.
- High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant supervisory experience required in one or more of the following areas: U.S. Military, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Maintenance Leads, Mechanical, or Automotive industry.
- Ability and desire to work 2nd Shift – 3:00PM-12:00AM on Bell’s 9/80 schedule.
- Must be able to work overtime weekends as required on a rotation basis, typically 1 weekend per month.
- Demonstrated success in influencing and leading in either a direct or indirect capacity.
- Experience supervising employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement is strongly preferred.
- Hands on technical experience in manufacturing operations environment including manufacturing, paint, materials, production control planning, stock, repair, overhaul, maintenance and/or shipping is preferred.
- Must have demonstrated organizational skills and good written/oral communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and/or certification as a Continuous Improvement Leader, such as Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
- Knowledge of aviation industry regulations is preferred.

Bell/Textron Relocation Assistance is NOT available for this role.
