Operations Engineer, Production Manager

This position will support the Fabrication Operations processes.
- Project management of Fabrication process improvements.
- Proposals of improvement plans, execution of the plans, management to the schedule, as well as creating and conducting briefings to peers and upper management on status.
- Creating recommendations and implementing improvement strategies to continually optimize the Production Control material flow.
- Act as the liaison for Production Control’s Performance Management Teams and coordinator for Material Flow team improvements.
- Coordinate material movement between warehouse and production areas.
- Assist in managing workloads to meet departmental objectives and ensure process compliance.
- Provide data and information through daily/weekly/monthly reports utilizing SAP & Microsoft Office tools.
- Expedite the movement of parts to support production and assembly line need.
- Investigate and provide resolution for all non-workable conditions to avoid work interruptions.
- Help drive improvements in multiple aspects of the Production Operations organization.
- Coordinate with Production Control and cross-functional teams to create milestone project plans as well as execute to the plans.
- Support and drive the teams to meet their timeline and milestones.

Basic Qualifications- Experience with transactional & data elements available for report/metric development (SAP, Tableau or other related programs)
- Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience Shop Floor Manager or Electronic Work Instructions (EWI) or equivalent tool
- Self-Starter
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Continuous Improvement experience
