We have an outstanding Contract position for an Assembler to join a leading company located in the Ft. Worth, TX surrounding area.

Job Responsibilities:

Accurately and efficiently assemble/test products to achieve customer quality and on-time delivery schedules.

Perform lock wiring, first stage sub-assembly, and final detailing functions on routine assignments requiring limited judgment.

Contribute actively to lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs.

Receive direct supervisory guidance.

Perform basic assembly/test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Record test results on data forms using basic electrical equipment and flow meters.

Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives.

Produce and inspect assemblies that conform to product specifications.

Assemble/test to customer and/or industry standards.

Perform touch-up or full surface painting of parts with finishing materials such as paint, lacquer, or glaze.

Mix paint and clean parts.

Participate actively in lean initiatives by identifying and suggesting areas for improvement.

Observe all safety rules and maintain a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area.

Ensure all equipment is calibrated according to the calibration schedule.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

High school diploma or equivalent.
