Overview
Trinity Rail Maintenance Services is hiring a Career Chemical Cleaner at our Fort Worth, TX plant.
Responsibilities- Purge surfaces with water and/or non-hazardous chemicals
- Train to operate hand-held blast equipment
- Learn details of the job, policies and processes
- Follow all safety rules, practices, and procedures
- Learn the process of determining and completing the appropriate cleaning process for the product
- Learn to handle and maintain cleaning equipment and materials, including hazardous chemicals
- Learn to operate equipment and/or understand drawings and diagrams
- Must be able to work in confined spaces with full hazmat gear
- Other duties as assigned
- 0-3 months of related experience, such as chemical cleaning and working in a manufacturing environment
- Have basic understanding of water blasting or abrasive blasting
- Ability to learn and obtain technical certificates required
- Ability to read or learn to read schematics and/or blueprints
