Core Personnel Staffing is partnering with one of our amazing manufacturing clients in Fort Worth, Texas to identify a Fabrication Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations within their Fabrication Department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on leader with strong sheet metal fabrication experience who enjoys building efficient processes, leading production teams, and driving continuous improvement on the shop floor.
What We’re Looking For- 5+ years of sheet metal fabrication experience
- Previous leadership or management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to read shop drawings and understand manufacturing processes
- Hands‑on experience with fabrication equipment, including:
- Saws
- Brake Presses
- Welding equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Overseeing daily operations within the Fabrication Department
- Creating, verifying, and maintaining production schedules for the fabrication team
- Ensuring all work meets company quality standards and production expectations
- Tracking employee productivity and quality of output
- Managing and maintaining equipment maintenance schedules
- Partnering with Engineering to improve design‑to‑manufacture processes
- Driving improvements in accuracy, organization, and efficiency of manufactured products
- Collaborating with other department leaders and scheduling teams to ensure smooth product flow throughout the facility
