Job Title: Mechanical Assembler/Assembly Technician
Location: Ft. Worth, TX 76114
Shift: 1st, 2nd Shift
Duration: 6+ months
Payrate: $19.20/hr on W-2 without benefits.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Mechanical Assembly & Test Technician to accurately assemble and test products in a manufacturing environment while meeting quality and on-time delivery requirements.
This role involves hands-on mechanical assembly, basic testing, and inspection under direct supervision and supports lean manufacturing initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities- Performs basic assembly and test functions using mechanical skills, tools, and test equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Records and documents test results using basic electrical equipment and measurement tools.
- Interprets technical documents such as blueprints, engineering orders, test specifications, and quality directives to ensure accurate assembly.
- Produces and inspects assemblies to meet customer and industry standards.
- Participates in lean initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read basic blueprints and work instructions.
- Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred.
