Trinity Rail Maintenance Services is searching for a talented team player to fill the open position of Production Scheduler in our Fort Worth, TX manufacturing facility!

What you'll do:- Build integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing, and logistics, as well as outside suppliers.
- Focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, establishing key performance metrics and benchmarks related to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure performance against goals regularly.
- Promote alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements throughout the maintenance repair shop.
- Determine car requirements and coordinate the efficient movement of production and engineering.
- Coordinate information and activities with other team members.
- May coordinate or exchange information with third parties, vendors, or customers.
- Lead technical and mechanical reviews with Operations, Safety, Welding, and Quality to analyze and develop optimal process instructions.
- Develop and conduct reports, manage meetings, and support railcar maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with Lean and Continuous Improvement teams during Kaizen events or Value Stream mapping activities.
- Collect, compile, and present railcar maintenance progress and status reports daily or as requested.
- Provide support during peak fulfillment periods to meet corporate financial targets.
- Ensure inventory and material controls are in place and executed as per the plan.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with one year of experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 9 years of manufacturing experience without a degree.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
