We are currently looking for Finishing Production Operators to join our team! The Finishing Machine Operator is responsible for checking quality and finishing labels either through jogging or cutting.

• Compensation: $19.00 to $22.00 hourly based on experience
• Shifts:
  
  6a – 6p or 6p – 6a

• Paid Holidays:
  New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, plus two floating Holidays.

• Continuously check for print and seam quality.
• Remove defective material and splice the roll web back together per the specification.
• Utilize a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure (tools are used at other times as necessary).
• Handle rolls and palletize them accordingly to avoid damage.
• Understand basic printing and seam related defects.
• Record and enter data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Globetek).
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions.
• Proficiency with units of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Ability to use simple Windows‑based applications.
• Physical demands include standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.
• Frequent walking required.
• Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed, and regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
