Shift available: 12:00pm-9:00pm
Essential Tasks / Duties- Provide safe and efficient handling, staging, and storage of raw materials and finished goods, and preparation of shipments.
- Unload, check, and receive ordered raw materials, parts and supplies.
- Store, organize and rotate materials as directed to ensure oldest materials are used first (FIFO).
- Retrieve materials and deliver them to the production machinery in a timely fashion to keep equipment well supplied.
- Deliver finished goods to designated areas in the storage warehouse for efficient picking and safe storage.
- Pick, stack, wrap and stage shipments, recording quantities and pallet contents as needed.
- Repair, repack and label damaged products to mitigate loss as needed.
- Load outbound trucks with products, ensuring that the product will arrive in the best possible condition.
- Perform required safety checks on any equipment used to ensure it is maintained safely.
- Adhere to all required safety policies related to powered industrial truck operations.
- Sweep and clean dock area and truck wells to maintain a professional Shipping and Receiving Department.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays and holidays.
- One year experience in Shipping and Receiving.
- Stand-up lift experience, skilled maneuvering in tight spaces.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. to a height of 6 feet regularly.
- 1-5 years of stand-up forklift experience and ability to maneuver in narrow aisles.
