Job responsibilities and duties will include:

• Receives material and parts from transportation representatives. Receipts truck driver’s bill of lading after a physical check of items received.
• Works from Purchase Order, Material Shipping Order, C.A.A. Tag, and vendor lists, checking items against these documents. Performs physical or weight counts and certifies each order’s quantity or weight. May help unpack items and delivers materials to department inspectors.
• Performs manual and clerical tasks involved in storing and disbursing aircraft materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Is responsible for the efficient and orderly operation of a stock room, receiving and storing a wide variety of materials, supplies, parts, simple hand tools, etc. Selects and identifies suitable storage locations.
• Fills orders according to disbursement requisitions, reports critical shortages, and tracks shortages by physical checking.
• Keeps a perpetual inventory record of stock on hand and makes periodic inventories for accounting records, using a typewriter for maintaining records.
• Operates a fork truck to load, move, lift, and stack large and/or heavy articles. Fork lift experience required.

• One year of Receiving Clerk, Stock Clerk, or related clerical experience.
• Fork lift certification required.
