Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MIG Fabricator to join our team. This role is responsible for fabricating metal structures and components using MIG welding techniques, based on blueprints, specifications, and custom instructions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and has a strong background in mechanical systems and fabrication.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding to assemble and fabricate metal components
- Operate fabrication equipment, including cutting, bending, grinding, and welding tools
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
- Measure and mark materials for cutting or shaping
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools
- Follow all company safety protocols and policies
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a mechanic or in a related fabrication/mechanical role
- Basic knowledge of 12-volt electrical systems and mobile hydraulic systems (e.g., PTOs, pumps)
- Proven MIG welding and fabrication experience
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work both independently and in a team setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in a manufacturing environment
- Must provide own basic hand tools
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Ability to pass a tape measure test
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Welding certification (preferred but not required)
- Experience with additional welding methods (e.g., MIG)
- Familiarity with advanced fabrication techniques and materials
