Quality Supervisor

Overview

Lasko Products, a trusted leader in the design and manufacture of portable fans and heaters for over a century, is seeking a Quality Inspection Supervisor to join our Ft. Worth, TX team. This is a hands-on, first-shift role focused on ensuring our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

• Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate a team of quality inspectors.
• Develop and maintain quality control standards, procedures, and protocols.
• Establish inspection and sampling procedures, and determine appropriate testing equipment.
• Collaborate with the Quality Manager, Quality Engineers, and manufacturing teams to execute plant-wide quality initiatives.
• Identify and communicate quality issues promptly and effectively.
• Oversee inspection and testing of materials, components, and finished products.
• Conduct routine inspections across Molding, Assembly, and Press/Paint departments.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
• Prepare and present reports on quality metrics and improvement opportunities.
• Manage nonconforming material processes and support the Material Review Board.
• Assist in resolving customer complaints and internal quality issues.
• Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Required:

• 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, CAPA).
• Solid understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in plastic injection molding and metal stamping.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience.

• Regularly required to talk or hear.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms.
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment exposed to dust, odors, and noise.
