BODYBAR's Franchise Onboarding manager plays a critical role in guiding new franchise owners through the pre-opening (presale) journey to launch and operate a successful BODYBAR Pilates studio. This individual will serve as a dedicated partner to new franchisees, supporting them from the signing of the real estate signing through the grand opening. Reporting to the Director of Studio Development, the SOM will provide hands‑on support in areas such as project management, marketing execution, sales performance, and operational readiness.

The SOM must be an organized, solutions‑oriented professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can lead with both empathy and accountability. This role requires excellent communication and project management skills, critical thinking abilities, and a passion for supporting entrepreneurs through every stage of the studio development process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Franchise Owner Liaison
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new franchise owners during the onboarding and presale process.
  • Build strong, positive, and trusting relationships with new owners through proactive, transparent, and encouraging communication.
  • Guide franchisees through the BODYBAR onboarding roadmap, including timeline management, key milestones, and system compliance.
  • Provide consistent coaching, ensuring owners understand expectations and have the tools needed to meet them.
  • Support franchisees in interpreting and executing BODYBAR's business plan templates, budget models, and presale targets.
Project Management and Operational Readiness
  • Oversee and manage the project timeline from real estate signing through studio opening
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (real estate, construction, marketing, operations, etc.) to ensure alignment and on‑time delivery.
  • Identify potential roadblocks, troubleshoot challenges, and provide solutions‑oriented support to keep owners on track.
  • Support the studio opening checklist, ensuring operational, systems, and staffing readiness.
Training and development
  • Lead virtual and in‑person onboarding trainings focused on BODYBAR systems, studio operations, marketing campaigns, and membership sales strategies.
  • Provide hands‑on coaching to owners and their teams on client acquisition, staff recruitment, and member retention best practices.
  • Ensure franchisees understand BODYBAR's values, brand standards, and operational processes to deliver a consistent member experience.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of onboarding tools, resources, and training documentation.
Marketing and Sales Support
  • Partner with the marketing team and franchisees to execute presale marketing strategies and local activation plans.
  • Provide tactical support and coaching on lead generation, outreach cadence, CRM usage, and membership conversion strategies.
  • Monitor presale metrics and KPIs to help drive early success and create a strong foundation for studio performance.
  • Collaborate on creative solutions to increase local engagement and excitement ahead of opening.
Compliance
  • Ensure franchisees understand and adhere to brand, operational, and quality standards prior to and during launch.
  • Identify and address any compliance gaps, working with owners to implement corrective actions proactively.
  • Monitor progress toward staffing, training, and operational benchmarks in line with system expectations.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Participate in monthly “Meet the Team” sessions and franchisee webinars as needed
  • Support the ongoing development and refinement of the onboarding program based on field learnings
  • Complete various administrative tasks and documentation tied to the onboarding journey and studio success
QUALIFICATIONS &

EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in:
    Training & Development, Operations Management, Business Start‑Up or Franchise Onboarding, or Project Management (strongly preferred)
