Overview
Develop and execute strategic claims resolution plans for large exposure cases. Collaborate with TPAs, carriers, attorneys, and internal teams to drive results. Monitor claims trends and provide actionable insights to reduce frequency and severity. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Implement better systems for workflow and reporting. Lead and mentor the Sr. Claims Specialist.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE- Experience:
7+ years managing multi-line, multi-state claims (GL, Auto, WC) - Expertise:
Advanced knowledge of claims adjusting, litigation strategies, reserving practices, and insurance regulations - Leadership:
Proven ability to manage high-exposure claims and lead a team - Skills:
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; ability to develop strategic resolution plans - Education:
Bachelor’s in Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Professional certifications (AIC or similar)
- Experience in supply chain/logistics or transportation industry
- Familiarity with claims analytics, cost mitigation strategies, and process improvement
- Ability to train internal stakeholders on best practices
