Doxology Bible Church is a multi-congregational, gospel-centered church committed to developing Christ-centered people who make a difference by connecting with Christ, transforming in community, and engaging our world.

The Facility Manager oversees the care, maintenance, safety, and functionality of church buildings, grounds, and equipment across Doxology’s campuses. This role ensures our physical environment helps to foster the desired outcomes of the ministries of Doxology.

• Oversee daily operations of all church facilities, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and preparedness for services and events.
• Manage preventative and corrective maintenance schedules for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, and other building systems.
• Coordinate building usage logistics, including room setups, furniture arrangement, heating and cooling, and equipment needs.
• Respond promptly to facilities emergencies and after-hours issues.

• Ensure the facility is in compliance with safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for congregants, staff, and guests.
• Partner with local safety officials as needed and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

• Assist ministries and staff with planning requirements for church events, worship services, community gatherings, and special programs.
• Coordinate setup, teardown, and vendor access, as needed.

• Supervise facility personnel.
• Serve as liaison for contracted service providers.
• Foster clear communication with church staff, ministry leaders, and volunteers as it pertains to facility.
• Develop, leverage, and lead volunteers for facility-related roles, as is strategic or necessary.

• Manage facilities budgets with a stewardship mindset, tracking expenses and recommending cost-effective solutions.
• Assist with annual facilities planning, capital improvement projects, and long-term infrastructure development.
• Track inventory of supplies and equipment; ensure appropriate stock levels.

• Proven experience in facilities management or operations supervision.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and manage contractors, vendors, and maintenance personnel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a servant-leadership approach.

• Knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Familiarity with safety compliance standards relevant to public assembly and worship spaces.

• Evening, weekend, and on-call availability may be required.
• Physical requirements include frequent walking, lifting, and manual coordination.
