Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced and motivated leader to be a senior level Proposal Manager (Individual Contributor), as part of a dynamic and hard‑working team located in Fort Worth, TX. This exceptional individual will manage proposal teams in the development of compliant and compelling solicitation responses for unusually complex campaigns and capture efforts. The role requires a high degree of ingenuity, including identifying the need for in‑house and/or consultant resources, tailoring the proposal process to specific campaigns, coaching volume leads, and leading post‑submission activities such as Evaluation Notices, Best and Final Offer, orals, and lessons learned.

The successful candidate will provide regular status updates and meaningful feedback to Senior Management and will be capable of expertly handling proposal coordination activities.

• Work with Capture Managers, Business Development, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Program Management, Facilities, and other organizations to identify the proposal team and required facilities for the proposal effort.
• Demonstrate Proposal Process expertise and ability to tailor processes, guiding team members on procedures.
• Establish and manage proposal schedules and deadlines.
• Develop proposal artifacts such as the proposal outline, compliance matrix, storyboard plan, and delivery plan.
• Manage and maintain the life cycle of content for the Proposal Reuse Library.
• Track and report status of proposal sections, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance while anticipating impacts to schedule and resources.
• Conduct regular proposal status meetings and manage actions to closure.
• Ensure configuration management of all proposal artifacts, utilizing Microsoft SharePoint and similar tools.
• Schedule, organize, and conduct proposal color reviews (e.g., Pink and Red Teams), driving comment summation and adjudication.
• Work collaboratively with publications personnel to manage the production cycle, including printing, book check, packing, and delivery.
• Ensure work spaces are well‑maintained for the proposal teams, including daily oversight and maintenance of assigned proposal spaces.

• Experience as a Proposal Manager working on large proposal and capture efforts, implementing standard proposal processes for U.S. and foreign government pursuits.
• Experience in competitive proposal processes.
• Experience managing teams under time pressures and competing priorities.
• Prior experience interfacing with executive level management.

• Program management experience.
• Successful track record managing highly technical teams.
• Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills requiring minimal direction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong writing ability with experience in developing content for technical, management, past performance, and resume proposal sections.
• Formal Proposal Management accreditation such as APMP.
• Experience with Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Well‑versed in Shipley and/or APMP accreditation.
