Senior Associate, Tax Talent Strategy – KPMG US

Join KPMG’s Tax organization as a Senior Associate in the Tax Talent Strategy team. This role focuses on enhancing the People Experience, Workforce Evolution, and Culture initiatives through strategic projects, communication, and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support Tax Talent strategic projects and initiatives, contributing to deliverables focused on People Experience and Development, Workforce Evolution, and Culture, Wellbeing & Inclusion strategies.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure Tax's voice is represented and refine and execute the continuous listening strategy, leveraging people councils, survey data, and other channels; plan and execute virtual and in‑person meetings.
  • Prepare and draft high‑quality strategic materials, including communications, presentations, reports, and white papers for leaders; facilitate large group meetings and present materials to Tax leadership.
  • Assist with planning and execution of team meetings, workshops, internal conferences, and trainings; manage agendas, budgets, logistics, participant management, session materials development, and output synthesis.
  • Use strong writing skills to create clear, impactful communications that support initiatives to enhance Tax personnel experience and development.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders and functional counterparts to execute the Tax Talent Strategy mission; support team management activities such as note‑taking, action tracking, status reports, and maintain team SharePoint & collateral, including developing and maintaining Tax talent resources and portal content.
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum two years of recent experience in Human Resources, Human Capital Advisory, Talent Strategy, Organizational Effectiveness, Behavioral Science, or related fields—preferably within a large professional services environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Strong writing skills, proficiency in project planning, and experience creating presentation decks; familiarity with AI tools and ability to provide meaningful insights and recommendations for employee experience.
  • Solid facilitation skills for supporting meetings, workshops, and group discussions.
  • Passionate about enhancing employee experience, open to feedback, and committed to exploring diverse perspectives.
  • Self‑directed, learner‑mindset, curious, high emotional intelligence, and innovative mindset; strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without needing employment‑based visa sponsorship now or in the future; this opportunity is not sponsored.
Salary and Benefits

California salary range: $70,900 – $143,500. KPMG offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
