MRC Stevenson Oaks, located in Fort Worth, Texas, is the newest senior living community from Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC), a nonprofit organization committed to providing vibrant lifestyles and quality care for seniors. Opened in late Spring 2022, the community features 172 independent living apartments, 40 assisted living units, and 24 memory support suites. Stevenson Oaks offers a home maintenance‑free environment with comprehensive services such as housekeeping, restaurant‑style dining, transportation, and life‑enriching activities.

Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Maintenance Assistant based in Fort Worth, TX. The Maintenance Assistant will handle general maintenance tasks, including equipment, building, and preventive maintenance to ensure the safe and proper functioning of the facilities. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include executing routine inspections, performing repair work, maintaining records, and ensuring the facility operates efficiently and meets safety standards. The role supports the comfort and well‑being of residents by providing a secure and well‑maintained environment.

Qualifications
  • Experience in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance
  • Proficiency in general Building Maintenance and repair tasks
  • Strong Communication skills to collaborate with team members and residents
  • General knowledge and practical experience in Maintenance and facility operations
  • Ability to troubleshoot and effectively solve maintenance‑related issues
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor and operate tools or machinery
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certifications are a plus
  • Previous experience in senior living or hospitality settings is beneficial
