Dyna Ten (a Comfort Systems USA Company) has been successfully providing Commercial Service and Construction Solutions to the greater North Texas market. Dyna Ten is hiring an in-person HVAC/PLUMBING Designer that will be responsible for the design and coordination of mechanical ductwork and plumbing systems. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles, Plumbing Code and the ability to apply this knowledge to complex commercial projects
** Responsibilities
* ** Coordinate and work efficiently and in accordance with plans and specifications, and Dyna Ten fabrication standards; advise the respective Project Manager as conflicts occur
* Document and provide marked-up submittals to Project Manager showing any modifications, or discrepancies related to inline duct and piping devices.
* Monitor and report to the respective Project Manager when coordination and detailing require work not indicated on the contract drawings.
* Attend job meetings as requested by the Project Manager
* Generate full coordination drawings and provide all necessary paperwork to complete the task.
* Provide clear, dimensional, and accurate drawings.
* Visit job sites as necessary to complete work assignments.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
** Requirements
* ** Ability to read and understand contract drawings, specs, and submittals.
* Ability to coordinate and perform multiple activities in a timely manner
* Ability to deal diplomatically and effectively with internal and external customers
* Ability to maintain a sense of urgency, but remain calm when handling emergencies

* Schedule:

Full-time, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as duties demand. Unscheduled overtime may be required, as necessary
* Possess field experience as a construction sheet metal mechanic or sheet metal foreman or Lic Plumbing.

** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand, and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking.
