Industrial Janitor – 1st Shift | $20–22/hr | Temp-to-Hire
Location: Roanoke, TX
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM or 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $20–22 per hour, based on experience

What You’ll Be Doing- Perform daily and routine cleaning of offices, breakrooms, restrooms, and production areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and dust floors, ledges, machinery surrounds, and walkways
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces and replenish restroom and sanitation supplies
- Safely remove and dispose of general and industrial waste following facility protocols
- Support minor maintenance tasks like changing filters and replacing light bulbs
- Assist with cleaning up spills involving oils, lubricants, and other shop materials
- Maintain organized janitorial supply closets and report low inventory
- Help with meeting room setups, furniture moves, and equipment transport
- Remove snow/ice and maintain clean entryways, walkways, and loading docks
- Operate floor scrubbers, vacuums, and buffers safely and efficiently
- Work with maintenance and safety teams to meet facility cleanliness and compliance standards
- Contribute to 5S and safety initiatives by keeping work areas clear and clean
- You have at least 6 months of custodial, janitorial, or industrial housekeeping experience
- You’re comfortable operating cleaning equipment and basic hand tools
- You understand proper chemical handling and can read Safety Data Sheets
- You’re self‑motivated, dependable, and able to follow directions
- You’re physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and staying active throughout your shift
- You’re open to flexible scheduling, including occasional overtime or weekend work
- You take pride in keeping things clean, safe, and organized
