$35.00/hr – $35.00/hr (union position with a base rate of $34.66 per hour and an additional $9.75 per hour in Health and Welfare dollars, which are used to pay benefits).
Duties and Responsibilities- Knowledge of contractual requirements and creation of schedules.
- Utilizes Tsheets timekeeping daily, logging in and out for lunch.
- Ability to handle a fast‑paced environment and maintain organization.
- Maintains, repairs and ensures all equipment is in proper working condition including HVAC systems, water treatment systems and emergency generator systems and various other mechanical systems.
- Orders replacement items through purchasing, and works with vendors regarding repairs to existing equipment.
- Submits receipts on a weekly basis to the corporate office for processing.
- Performs any additional duties on an "as required" basis where such duties are within the scope of contractual responsibilities.
- Issues reports and summaries as required.
- Maintains appropriate records and statistics for administrative and regulatory purposes.
- Resolves clients' concerns, conducts follow‑up calls and makes onsite visit inspections for satisfactory job performance.
- Creates estimates as needed; familiar with RS Means.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience in the operations & maintenance of building operational systems including HVAC, fire suppression systems, environmental (including oil‑water separator servicing) and water treatment procedures.
- Proficient with MS Office computer programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project) and possesses outstanding written and oral communication skills.
