Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Experience in (2) of the following:
- Experience with a variety of contract types including Firm‑Fixed Price Contracts, Cost type Contracts, and Time and Material Contracts
- Leading high‑stakes negotiations with suppliers
- Negotiating Terms & Conditions with suppliers
- Managing complex contracts at a variety of dollar values

Who You AreYou’ll perform within the Global Supply Chain team as a Subcontract Management Staff member.
What You Will Be DoingIn this role, you will be responsible for overall management of supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance and interfacing with program functional organizations and supplier management. The position will be responsible for managing procurement and contract activities as well as related supplier performance. This role requires a significant amount of collaboration with team members to accomplish goals.
In This Role, You Will- Lead, support, and perform subcontract activities
- Prepare requests for proposals
- Evaluate subcontractor proposals
- Develop cost/price analysis
- Negotiate
- Create purchase orders and contract documentation
- Manage contractual delivery schedules to align with program demands
- Communicate across multi‑function and multi‑level platforms

Further Information About This OpportunityThis position is located in Fort Worth, TX. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. You must be a US Citizen and possess the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance after hire.
Desired Skills- +8 years’ experience in supply chain management and/or procurement
- Proficient use of MS Excel and systems such as SAP or an equivalent purchasing/ERP system (e.g., Procure-to-Pay)
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)
- Works independently and in a collaborative team‑based environment
- Experience with multi‑tasking and managing competing priorities
- Experience with analyzing complex problems and recommending solutions

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
