Overview

LHH is looking for a Temp-to-Hire Commercial Real Estate Paralegal for a transactional boutique law firm located in Fort Worth, TX
. Temp to Hire can be 3 months depending on how the assignment is going
. Would like someone that can assist while the perm search is ongoing and hopefully work out to be hired permanently
.

  • Hourly pay is $30.00 - $40.00 per hour DOE
  • 3 month assignment fully onsite. Will evaluate at that time to hire permanently
  • If hired permanently, unlimited PTO (if not abused)

Candidates with residential real estate experience and candidates with no law firm experience will not be considered. Please do not apply

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate lending, commercial real estate finance, or commercial escrow/title at a Texas law firm
  • Experience with commercial property transactions, easements, rights of way, title and survey review, acquisitions/dispositions, and drafting transactional documents is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with lending-transaction processes, though not necessarily specialized lending-document drafting
  • Title and Survey experience
  • Paralegal certification required
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate documentation and processes
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Bill4

    Time
    for timekeeping (preferred)
Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and prepare initial loan documents for commercial lending transactions (Texas and national)
  • Review and validate documentation
    , ensuring accuracy of all exhibits
  • Manage closing checklists and track due diligence to support timely closings
  • Conduct title and survey review and analysis
  • Coordinate communication among attorneys, lenders, borrowers, and title companies
  • Maintain accurate time and billing records for invoicing
  • Manage documents per firm procedures, including electronic filing
  • Record documents electronically in applicable public records
  • Support special projects and additional assignments as needed
