Estate Planning Legal Assistant

Overview

The firm is seeking two Estate Planning Legal Assistants, one for the Plano office and another for the Dallas office. The ideal candidates will possess experience in estate planning and demonstrate a proactive approach to supporting attorneys. Responsibilities will include managing calendars, organizing files, and ensuring deadlines are met. The work environment is collaborative, fostering communication among all staff members. Candidates should be detail-oriented and comfortable following up with attorneys to facilitate smooth operations.

• Support 2-3 attorneys in their daily tasks
• Manage attorney calendars and handle follow-ups
• Organize and maintain files efficiently
• Prepare binders and review legal documents
• Ensure deadlines are met through proactive communication

• 3-5 years of experience as a legal assistant
• At least 3 years of dedicated estate planning experience
• BA degree preferred
• Paralegal certification preferred
• Familiarity with Court Alert is advantageous
