Immigration Attorney - EOIR

A law firm seeks an Immigration Attorney - EOIR in Fort Worth, TX. This role offers a promising opportunity for a dedicated attorney to gain valuable experience and advance their career. The position involves managing a caseload, client interaction, and collaboration with a team of attorneys and legal assistants. This hybrid role requires in-person court appearances.

• Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions.
• Represent individuals in removal proceedings at Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals.
• Manage a workload of cases.
• Conduct intake with detained individuals at centers.
• Prepare diverse immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions.
• Review and adjust immigration applications/packets as needed.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and community organizations on immigration law changes.
• Conduct strategic immigration consultations with potential clients.
• Develop strategies and prepare clients/witnesses for court/USCIS testimony.
• Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases.

• 1-5 years of immigration law experience.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Preferably bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Proven ability to manage a caseload and move legal cases forward.
• Experience with family-based petitions, humanitarian, EOIR, detained, citizenship, and other USCIS applications.
• Experience with case management software is preferred.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

• Admitted to practice law.
