UBEO is a distributor/servicer of document equipment and software solutions. Primary products include Xerox, Ricoh, Canon and Konica Minolta multi-functional equipment and Kyocera printers. UBEO specializes in electronic document management software and integrations.
The primary responsibilities of this position is as follows:
Department: Service
Reports To: Director of Service Training
FLSA Status: Full Time/Exempt
Purpose
This position is responsible for performing technical training for all UBEO locations. Functions of the job include delivering superior service quality, and technical instruction to all UBEO personnel. Responsible for performing training that will improve service levels, productivity, profitability, customer and employee satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for conducting technical instruction for all UBEO personnel
- Responsible for the creation and instruction of material to improve service quality and performance.
- Responsible for requesting and tracking travel requests, and prerequisite completion for individuals attending training.
- Responsible for setup, maintaining and cleanup of the training environment, to include the maintenance and repair of any equipment used in the training environment.
- Must be professional and exhibit customer service skills in and out of the classroom.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe, professional and healthy training environment by following organizational, and manufacturer standards.
- Assists with the training and development of all service personnel to include analyzing the training needs of the service department and recognizing training opportunities to further enhance the quality of the service department
- Responsible for coordinating with the Director of Service Training, Regional Directors of Service, and the Branch Field Service Managers for the scheduling of training courses needed.
- Responsible for communication and liaison with senior management and manufacturers to ensure compliance training and the classroom environment.
- Effectively interact with other functional groups to ensure the department is working cohesively with all department to achieve Ubeo Business Services overall goals and objectives
- Assists with scheduling and tracking of training taking place within the service department.
- Responsible for maintaining standards and performing factory certified training for multiple vendors.
- Assists with keeping the service organization on track as it pertains to technology development and technology convergence
- Manage the utilization of assets and resources both internal and external to achieve targeted financial results and to create superior value for Ubeo Business Services and our service organization
- Communicate and interact with customers, field service, sales, management, and administration in a way that is courteous, positive and professional
- Complete all administrative aspects of the job on time and error-free
- Perform other activities that support UBEO Business Services and our service organization

- 6+ years industry experience or previous management experience
- Technical aptitude and proficiency
- Computer/Networking related skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- A+ & N+ certifications (preferred)
- CompTIA VCTT+ certification - to be acquired within 3 years of starting position
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle for travel to training sites.
- Ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods at times.
- Ability to lift 50+lbs on occasion.
- Ability to travel to different locations on a consistent basis.
- Ability to work / travel on weekends as required.
- Ability to work evenings as required for a specific training class.
