Summary

Our client, a leader and growing presence in the robotics and autonomous vehicles space, is seeking experienced Software QA Engineers to support R&D and production software teams in a long-term contract capacity. This role focuses on validating complex software systems through rigorous manual and automated testing, working closely within an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure high-quality, reliable releases.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test plans, strategies, and detailed test cases aligned with project requirements.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and document defects; collaborate with engineering teams to drive resolution.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and support release readiness activities.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide regular quality and risk updates.
  • Execute testing in lab, vehicle, and field environments as required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
  • 5-7+ years of software quality assurance or related testing experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.
  • Hands‑on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Test Rail).
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Test Complete, or Postman.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Willingness to learn Linux systems and proprietary software installation and diagnostics.
