Description:
We are Lockheed Martin
You will be the Agile Project Manager for the F-35 MPE (Mission Planning Environment) Team, responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge mission planning system for the F-35 Program. Hands on Agile Team Leadership: planning, coaching, metrics tracking , to ensure high quality, on schedule delivery of MPE capabilities that support the F 35 program's vision and ground systems integration.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Agile Project Manager for the F-35 MPE team you will be responsible for leading the Agile Process & Delivery of the MPE Software You will be responsible for:
• Leading and guiding F 35 Mission Planning Environment (MPE) software agile delivery.
• Program Coordination:
Interface with product owners, engineers, test leads, and external customers (e.g., DoD, F 35 program office) to define scope, priorities, and success metrics.
• Risk & Issue Management:
Proactively identify, track, and mitigate technical, schedule, and resource risks; maintain risk registers and action plans.
• Coaching Agile teams and promoting collaborative working environment.
• Leading Metric development to track Agile Performance.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications:
•
** Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and an interim Secret clearance to start.**
* • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey technical concepts to non technical stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with teammates and leadership, influencing skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong Project Management Skills & Experience
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and manage competing priorities.
Desired
Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Jira administration, workflow design, and reporting dashboards.
- SAFe Agile experience preferred.
- Agile Coach:
Agile Certifications Preferred:
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI ACP, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent.
- Scrum Master experience a plus
- PMP Certification a plus.
- Data Analytics:
Experience analytics tools like Power BI / Tableau.
- Earned Value Management (EVM):
Knowledge of EVM principles applied to software projects.
- Change Management:
Experience leading organizational change initiatives during Agile transformations.
- Mentorship:
Proven coaching skills to develop Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team members in Agile practices.
- Software engineering background a plus.
- Knowledge of F 35 program architecture, ground systems integration, or related mission planning tools is a plus.
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
