End User Computing (EUC) Engineer - Intune, Config Mgr, VDI & AI Automation
The End User Computing (EUC) Engineer is responsible for designing, engineering, and operating a secure, scalable, and modern endpoint and virtual desktop environment using Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Configuration Manager (Config Mgr), and enterprise VDI platforms. This role supports both physical and virtual endpoints, ensuring a consistent, high-quality digital employee experience across devices and access models.
The position requires deep technical expertise in Windows and Mac endpoint management, VDI engineering, application delivery, patching, and security, along with hands-on experience applying AI-enabled automation and analytics to improve reliability, reduce operational overhead, and proactively resolve issues.
This is a senior, hands-on role that serves as a technical authority and escalation point while mentoring others and driving continuous improvement

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain Intune and SCCM co-management, including workload placement and modernization planning.
Engineer and support Windows Autopilot provisioning and lifecycle management for physical devices.
Develop and maintain endpoint configuration baselines, compliance policies, and security settings.
Own OS and application patching strategies across physical and virtual endpoints.
Build reporting and dashboards for device health, compliance, and deployment success.

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
Design, engineer, and support enterprise VDI/DaaS environments, such as:
Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
VMware Horizon (as applicable)
Manage and optimize:
Image creation and maintenance (gold images)
Session host configuration
FSLogix or equivalent profile/container solutions
User experience, performance, and scalability
Integrate VDI endpoints with Intune and/or Config Mgr for:
Configuration management
Security baselines
Application deployment and patching
Troubleshoot complex VDI issues related to:
Profile corruption
Application performance
Logon delays
Resource contention
Partner with infrastructure and cloud teams to optimize cost, availability, and capacity planning for VDI environments.
Implement AI-assisted operational capabilities across EUC and VDI, including:
Intelligent ticket triage and categorization using AI/NLP tools.
AI-supported knowledge creation and maintenance with governance controls.
Proactive detection of endpoint and VDI issues using telemetry and analytics.
Develop automation using Power Shell, Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, and orchestration tools.
Enable self-service and virtual agent workflows for common endpoint and VDI requests.
Ensure all AI solutions comply with enterprise security, privacy, and data governance requirements.

Application Packaging & Delivery
Build and maintain application packaging and deployment for both physical and virtual endpoints:
Win
32, MSIX, Store apps, VDI app layering (where applicable).
Standardize application onboarding, testing rings, pilot deployments, and rollback strategies.
Resolve application compatibility issues across persistent and non-persistent VDI models.
Implement analytics and monitoring for:
Device and VDI health
Logon performance
Application crashes
Session stability and user experience
Use data to drive proactive remediation and reduce incident trends.
Define and track EUC and VDI KPIs (MTTR, availability, performance, CSAT).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $100.00/hr.
