Overview
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking an experienced Enterprise Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to join the Classified Cyber Security team. The selected candidate will provide Cyber Security technical leadership as the Enterprise ISSM and manage internal and external customers’ expectations on security architecture and Assessment & Authorization (A&A) events. The candidate will also provide Cyber Security expertise as the Subject Matter Expert to ongoing projects by executing on program performance, delivery, and milestone completion, and will support the implementation and test of secure operating systems/networks, Dev Sec Ops , and cloud solutions.
Responsibilities- Provide hands-on technical assistance for complex systems/networks, lead strategic planning of current and future network configurations, cyber technology development/implementation, and support customer needs (meetings, calls, emails, demonstrations).
- Participate in planning and implementation of current and future security domains, including new service areas (e.g., Cloud Computing, Dev Sec Ops ).
- Interpret the Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) to determine IA requirements and ensure proper RMF security implementation.
- Develop system documentation for information system authorization, security management, and continuous monitoring of both networked and standalone classified systems.
- Perform system auditing, vulnerability risk assessments, Assured File Transfers, configuration management, data integrity containment, and investigations on IA-related security violations/incidents.
- Provide cybersecurity education and training for all system users on risk mitigation strategies.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to junior technical security professionals.
- Must be willing to travel on short notice.
- Must be a U.S. citizen; position located at a facility that requires special access.
- Level 5: typically 14–20 years of professional experience.
- Active Top Secret security clearance.
- DoD 8570 IAM Level-III Certification or
-Series Advanced qualification (CISM, CISSP, or equivalent). - Prior ISSM or ISSO experience.
- Experience with RMF as a SME and implementation across multiple phases of large programs.
- Technical project leadership (cyber technology and business case perspectives).
- Experience with technical security requirements across multiple domains (Operating Systems, Networks, HPC, etc.).
- Experience with SAP and JSIG application.
- Team player with ability to lead collaboration across locations; builds effective customer and partner relationships.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience executing security hardening on Linux and Windows using DISA STIGs/SRGs.
- Experience with network design processes, security and operational objectives, and risk mitigation for information systems.
- Experience deploying and hardening software-defined infrastructure.
- Experience as a System Administrator.
- Experience with standard security and network tools and applications.
- Strong communication with internal/external senior stakeholders and cognizant security agencies; able to interface with senior leadership.
- Energetic, motivated, passionate about cyber technologies.
- Experience or knowledge of Earned Value Management for government contractors.
- Experience with SDLC or Configuration Management.
- Experience with cloud migration or cloud infrastructure security (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. - Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.
