Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver one or more processes, solutions, and projects with a focus on quality and risk management.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and identify innovative solutions through research, analysis, and best practices.
  • Supervise professional employees or team members to deliver complex technical initiatives.
  • Apply depth of expertise to guide others and interpret issues to recommend quality solutions.
  • Design, architect, and present findings and solutions, leading junior team members.
  • Win new business for EY by becoming a trusted advisor to clients’ senior decision makers.
  • Communicate with C‑level executives and challenge them constructively.

Qualifications – To qualify for the role, you must have
  • A Bachelor’s degree in STEM.
  • 8+ years professional consulting experience.
  • 8+ years hands‑on experience in architecting, designing, delivering, or optimizing data lake solutions.
  • 3+ years’ experience with native cloud products such as Azure or GCP.
  • 5+ years of experience mentoring and leading teams of data architects and data engineers.
  • In‑depth knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large data engineering teams.
  • Hands‑on coding skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with containerization technologies and Dev Ops practices.
  • Practical understanding of data encryption, access control, and security best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • A Master’s degree in Electrical / Power Systems Engineering, Computer science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Machine Learning or commensurate experience.
  • Experience working at Big 4 or a major utility.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms like Databricks.
  • Experience leading and influencing teams, focusing on mentorship.
  • A passion for innovation and strategic application of emerging technologies.
  • The ability to foster an inclusive environment.
What We Offer You
  • Comprehensive compensation and benefits package. Base salary ranges are $125,500 to $230,200 for all U.S. locations, with higher ranges in specific metro areas.
  • Hybrid model with 40–60 % onsite for external client‑serving roles.
