Managing Consultant, Strategy & Transformation

As a Managing Consultant at Valent Partners, you will design, execute, and deliver solutions for our clients’ toughest business challenges. On a typical day, you might lead complex, multi‑threaded projects to streamline client business processes and technology environments, develop go‑to‑market strategies, execute change management initiatives, or lead business and technology transformation initiatives. You will mentor junior team members and lead cross‑functional teams in the execution of different work streams.

You will work alongside clients and interface with executive stakeholders to plan and execute successful engagements, and collaborate with Valent leaders to drive the growth of our firm.

• We work in small (typically 2–8 person) project teams that collaborate with clients to solve their toughest challenges.
• We employ principles of mature agile development to deliver high‑quality value to clients faster.

• Degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in technology consulting, program leadership, systems integration, or a related role.
• Experience leading technical implementation projects or programs (digital transformation, process reengineering, ERP systems, cloud migration, AI and automation).
• Strong understanding of change management frameworks, Agile methodologies, and project management tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect technical solutions to business objectives and client outcomes.
• Experience leading small teams and delivering successful project outcomes, while also contributing directly to the work being done.
• Skilled at driving alignment across cross‑functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
• Proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks to meet diverse client needs.
• Previous consulting experience preferred.
• Legally authorized to work for any company in the United States without sponsorship.
