We are looking for an experienced and driven Test Automation Architect to join our team. This role plays a key part in shaping and scaling enterprise-wide automation strategies that improve software quality, delivery speed, and operational efficiency.

The Test Automation Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and governing automation frameworks across software development, testing, operations, and infrastructure. Working closely with engineering, QA, Dev Ops, and business stakeholders, this role ensures automation initiatives align with business objectives, technology standards, and modern best practices.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in test automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation, along with the leadership skills required to drive adoption and continuous improvement across teams.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise-wide automation strategy.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to automate manual processes across development, testing, operations, and infrastructure.
  • Design and architect scalable automation frameworks for CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and infrastructure management.
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and adoption of automation tools and technologies (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Selenium).
  • Stay current with emerging automation technologies and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate automation into development and deployment workflows.
  • Partner with product owners and business stakeholders to align automation initiatives with business objectives.
  • Design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks and best practices.
  • Develop and integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
  • Ensure adequate test coverage through functional, performance, and load testing automation.
  • Design and implement infrastructure automation frameworks for cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Provision, manage, and monitor environments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to streamline infrastructure deployment and management.
  • Oversee the automation of security controls, compliance audits, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Drive continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) automation initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve automation workflows and processes.
  • Define, track, and analyze metrics to measure automation effectiveness and optimize performance.
Required Experience and Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in automation, software development, IT infrastructure, or Dev Ops.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an architect or leadership role.
  • Proven hands‑on experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Selenium, Puppet, Chef).
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation practices within agile environments.
  • Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Hands‑on experience with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Power Shell).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant certifications in automation or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
  • Experience with microservices architectures.
  • Strong understanding of Dev Sec Ops  practices and security automation within CI/CD pipelines.
