Managing Consultant, Technology Solutions

As a Managing Consultant at Valent Partners, you will design, execute, and deliver technology solutions for our clients’ toughest business challenges. On a typical day, you might expect to lead complex technical projects, streamline interconnected business processes and technology environments, or use a variety of languages and platforms to architect and implement custom, scalable solutions for our clients. You will be expected to mentor junior team members and lead cross‑functional teams in the execution of different work streams.

You will work alongside clients and interface with executive stakeholders to plan and execute successful engagements. Internally, you will collaborate with other Valent leaders in leading the operations of our business and contribute directly to the growth of Valent as a destination place to build one’s career.

• We work in small (typically 2–8 person) project teams that work alongside clients to solve their toughest challenges.

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Data Engineering, or similar.
• Minimum of five years of experience in technology consulting, software development, or systems architecture.
• Broad technical experience across multiple languages, frameworks, and platforms, with a proven ability to choose and apply the right tools for the task.
• Experience architecting and implementing custom technology solutions.
• Experience designing and implementing complex system integrations.li>
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect technical solutions to business objectives and client outcomes.
• Experience leading small teams and delivering successful project outcomes, while also contributing directly to the work being done.
• Skilled at driving alignment across cross‑functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
• Proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks to meet diverse client needs.
• Previous consulting experience preferred.
• Legally authorized to work for any company in the United States without sponsorship.

Valent believes in pay transparency, providing candidates with a reasonable estimate of the annual pay range for this role: $144,000 – $176,000. In addition to base salary, Valent offers a profit‑sharing bonus (based on the company's performance against growth targets) and an Individual Excellence bonus (based on individual performance).
