Responsibilities- Interpret business requirements into technical specifications.
- Design, build, and operate scalable data architecture and modeling solutions on Databricks and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Lead workstream delivery, ensuring quality and adherence to project objectives.
- Engage with clients daily, participating in working sessions and identifying opportunities for additional services.
- Develop and manage resource plans, budgets, and engagement economics.
- Maintain a competitive edge by staying current with emerging technologies and best practices.
- Guide the team through complex technical initiatives and provide mentorship and continuous improvement.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the data lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Manage client relationships and expectations to achieve high levels of satisfaction.
- Travel as required based on client needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 4–6 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud data solutions and analytics.
- Proven expertise in Databricks, Spark, and building complex cloud analytics solutions.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or SQL.
- Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Client‑management experience and stakeholder engagement.
- Strategic leadership, project management, change management, risk management, and technical leadership skills.
- Knowledge of data governance, compliance standards, and industry trends.
- Enterprise Data Lake Implementation:
Designed and deployed a cloud‑based data lake for a Fortune 500 retail client, integrating ERP, POS, and e‑commerce data. - Real‑Time Analytics Platform:
Managed a real‑time analytics platform using Databricks for a financial services organization, enabling fraud detection and risk assessment. - Data Warehouse Modernization:
Modernized a legacy data warehouse to a cloud‑native architecture for a healthcare provider, improving data accessibility for analytics.
