Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a fast‑paced technology company and a leader in data centers. We are expanding our infrastructure management team and are looking for a proven technology manager with experience in people management, robust technical understanding and the drive and vision to elevate AWS Data Center Operations. The successful candidate will create sustainable processes and standards, and drive automation opportunities to reduce delivery cycle times and improve quality without impacting network availability.

The mission of the team is to deliver network and server capacity on time with zero rework. The Infrastructure Delivery Manager will manage the implementation and delivery of inbound capacity and equipment. This manager will grow a team, oversee their development and growth, manage budgets, provide strategic direction and propose technical solutions, and be ultimately responsible for installing and delivering network equipment and related infrastructure, as well as driving low‑voltage structured cabling across the Amazon data center platform.

• Prioritize and assign tasks to data center technicians and operators, project management, coaching and creating documentation.
• Manage inbound capacity from receiving through deployment stages.
• Manage the installation of network and cabling infrastructure in a data center environment.
• Guide, train and educate staff on best practices related to all service owner issues.
• Manage tasks and deliverables across small to large‑size projects.
• Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and required SLAs.
• Provide weekly reports to the data center manager.
• Coordinate team resources to support project and delivery needs, including emergency projects, change management, maintenance window support, and potential off‑hours and on‑call needs.
• Recruit and train data technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Host weekly staff meetings.
• Drive compliance with Amazon performance management requirements.

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2+ years of data center experience.
• 3+ years of team management experience.
• 2+ years of networking experience (e.g., DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI model, TCP/IP).
• Experience with fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment, and troubleshooting methodologies.

• 3+ years of data center engineering or operations experience.
• Experience with network hardware: copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers.
• Experience measuring key operational metrics (e.g., order cycle time, ship estimate accuracy, on‑time and complete shipment, inventory record defect rate).
• Experience representing your team or technical area to senior management.
• Experience contributing to the definition and implementation of automation opportunities within an operations environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications, or managing multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, and coordinating domestic and international travel.

We offer competitive compensation with a base pay range of $96,900 to $216,800 per year depending on geographic market.
